The Updated Comprehensive Plan will be considered by the Plan Commission for recommendation to City Council on November 18th in Council Chambers at 5:00 PM. If passed it will be presented to City Council for adoption on December 8th in Council Chambers at 7:00 PM. Considerable time and expense have been invested into this updated plan. Early and Absentee Voting is in progress. Oregon voters need to make informed candidate decisions based on facts. I have added two additional opportunities for Oregon Voters to ask any remaining questions they may have. Ask Steve - Oct 22nd & 29th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Oregon Branch Library. Saturday August 9th is the date for BOOMFEST 2025! The fun kickoffs at 2:00 pm and ends at Midnight. This year's event dates place at 3000 Dustin Rd (Dunn Chevy lot) BOOMFEST 2025 Lineup: Arts & Crafts begin at 2:00 PM 5:00 PM – The Grape Smugglers 6:15 PM – Arctic Clam 7:30 PM – Chris Shutters Presents The Eric Clapton Experience 8:45 PM – Monsters of Yacht (Headliner) 10:15–10:30 PM – Fireworks Encore (Times are approximate and may shift slightly.)

Thanks once again to the Bay City Bicycle Club and other community members who showed up to our July 12th, Community Cleanup Day! We collected 5 bags of trash, got some great exercise while helping to beautify the Navarre Avenue Business District. Thanks again to all who joined us and please consider joining us in the future! Stopped out for some lemonade and to support the Isaiah 117 House Lucas Co OH coming to Oregon! We also were blessed to be able to get these sweet tattoos from a very talented young lady. Spent the evening volunteering collecting recyclables at the Mud Hens game showing how easy it is to do. Unfortunately, the Hens fell short, but the environment won! Thanks to: University of Toledo: Environmental Science, Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful, Inc., Imagination Station, Nature's Nursery, Oregon Economic Development Foundation and The Toledo Mud Hens. I'm looking forward to the next time!
