"Steve has been someone I have admired and respected for a long time. His love and commitment to our community has always been apparent even before he entered politics . He has initiated many service projects just for the benefit of the community, and does it without publicity or cameras. He has shown me he is a man of action and deeds instead of all words. When he became a council member, he made himself available to answer questions, investigate community problems and keep us informed. He has set the standard of what a council person should be doing and will be a wonderful mayor. Oregon needs a change going forward and we now have a candidate that has our best interests at heart."
